How Martial Arts has helped me.
Konichiwa! My name is Grace. I am twelve years old and I go to GOLDEN DRAGONS MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY. I just got my second degree red belt, which is pretty close to black belt, so I’ve been doing this for a while now: about two years in fact (give or take a few months). When I started out as a white belt at GOLDEN DRAGONS I was a lot different, spiritually, mentally and physically, then I am today. The changes were very subtle and I barely noticed them, but once I thought about it I realized that I am more coordinated and graceful (not to mention more calm) then I was starting out. I also feel more secure now days considering if Guido comes after me I can knock him out even if he’s got a knife (MUUUHAHAHAHA!!!). I don’t freak out and tense up when I’m walking in a store, down the street or wherever, as much as I used to. But, and this will probably never change about me unless I go deaf and blind, I still remain alert and aware of my surroundings (or try to anyway). Being taught by Bill Loudon has only sharpened this aspect of me. My stamina and endurance have also improved under the instruction of Mr. Bill. I am grateful to Sensei Loudon and, frankly, the whole school for help, support, encouragement, and a whole lot of fun throughout my time there. Here’s to black belt!!! AND THEN I WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!

Welcome back to the Dragon"s Den!
Its been a while since I have posted anything on the blog. I'm sorry for that.
We have great news March 1st, 2009 is our 4 year anniversary, I want to say thank you for all of your support thus far. It has has been a very wonderful, interesting and bumpy ride and who thought that we would last this long? I knew we would, when we put Golden Dragons together, (Quentin, Courtney, Bruce, Kelly, Arron, Tyler, Kyle, Mr. Rick, Jake, Luke, Kristin, and Larry) What took shape was the dojo that I had envision all a long. We could not have done it without every one's help and support.
With your support and Gods will, we will have a great time on our travels in Martial Arts well into the future. Thank You again.
There will be a sign up sheet at the Dojo for those of you that want to attend the Double Impact seminar in Drexel Hill, Pa with Grandmaster Leon Jay and Grandmaster George Dillman on April 4th, 2009. The Cost is $89 dollars if paid before March 27th, 2009. If the list is big enough Golden Dragons will be close that day for the trip to Pa.
